We are now the leading poultry processor in the country and are committed to the group core principals of uplifting our staff and communities through on going training, economic empowerment and investment in facility infrastructure  to ensure our sustainability.

During the last ten years Verino Agro Industries has invested in excess of 6 million dollars in the processing plant alone. To ensure our leading processor status, we are planning future expansion and will invest another 3 million dollars over the next three years.

Not only are we committed to commercial success but also to the environmental impact we have on our communities. We have slowly moved away from charcoal for brooding purposes and are proud to say that all our production operations are now running on gas brooding.  Furthermore we have moved to coal and gas for our broiler operations in our attempt to protect our forests for future generation. At Verino we have constructed an effluent treatment system that is in line with the European requirements for the treatment of effluent water. This project was completed earlier this year and we are now releasing completely unpolluted water back into the environment.

All our chickens are raised in a completely natural environment and all our chickens are fed on non GMO grains with no animal proteins. Furthermore, all  vaccination programs are of herbal origin and are antibiotic free. Overall, with good management our chickens mature rapidly and will reach our target live weight of 1.75kg per bird.
